Washington, DC: India’s Ambassador to the United States Vinay Mohan Kwatra participated in a high-level ministerial meeting hosted by Secretary Rubio on the growing threat of political terrorism and left-wing extremism.
During the meeting, Ambassador Kwatra shared India’s extensive experience in addressing and countering these security challenges. He highlighted the country’s efforts in dealing with various forms of terrorism and extremist threats through coordinated security measures and institutional frameworks.
Emphasising the need for stronger global cooperation, Ambassador Kwatra called for a zero-tolerance policy against all forms of terrorism, including cross-border terrorism and organisations promoting separatist agendas.
He stressed that terrorism remains a common threat to international peace and security, requiring collective action, greater coordination, and a unified global response.
India reiterated that there should be no distinction between different forms of terrorism and that the international community must work together to eliminate terrorist networks and extremist ideologies in all their forms.
